Multicultural counseling and multicultural competence requires a
non-stereotypic worldview. Verbal and nonverbal communications are key factors
between individuals and their interpretation is often based on their own
unique experience. It can be complicated even further when a third-party is
involved that provides interpretive services for the sole purpose of bridging
the language barrier.
However, one of the commonalities between all humans is our mind-body-spirit connection and how as human beings we perceive each other which give meaning to our perception. Multicultural counseling validates individual differences and life experiences by building pathways that bridges the mind-body-and spirit between individuals. We work with people for who they are, and not what we want them to be. We work hard to help you help yourself to happiness, good health, and individual goal attainment.
